EDU VISION STATEMENT

When we decided to set up shop and form Element 9, we faced many risk, but we knew the challenge was worth it. The value of taking risks was seizing the opportunity--the opportunity to exploit our knowledge and skills and become a catalyst for change.
 
Granted, there is a lot to be changed in the world, but our vision was clear - change the way people teach and learn and transform the educational system into a marketplace, where free market forces could deliver improved quality and results. A one size fits all educational system cannot serve everyone. We have to move beyond getting our classrooms wired. We have to be prepared to rethink, reengineer and renew our commitment to a system that encourages a life-long process of learning, enrichment and innovation. We have to erect a bridge, perhaps a digital bridge between the classroom and the workplace. If the Internet could revolutionize commerce into e-commerce, then the time has come to revolutionize education and training.
 
Element 9 is not the singular source, but we are a driving force that is ready to define, develop, deliver and sustain a dynamic strategy that builds an educational community or learning enterprise for the any environment:
 
where alliances between businesses, schools and community-based organizations are abundant
where technology enhances instruction by making the experience rich, stimulating and collaborative
where knowledge is a commodity
where our educators are cultural icons that are adequately commended for their service to humanity
where a curriculum is an "unconstrained set of tools and resources to sustain each person's self-directed, unbounded development"
where people from every walk of life are active participants engaging students and offering support, direction and feedback on improving and sustaining the enterprise.
Just take a minute to imagine the prospects of a learning enterprise -maybe the word powerful comes to mind or simply Wow. Element 9 was thinking the same thing too, Wow this is really possible and right now. The power of Internet technology combined with cultural participation could create the knowledge force versus the workforce in the emerging future. Element 9 is excited about the prospects of interconnecting the elements of businesses, academia, and the community to produce learning enterprises.
